In 1947, Hans Wegner designed this marvelous PP550 "Peacock Chair" in teak. When Finn Juhl saw this chair he instantly taken note of its characteristic back & perfectly named it as “The Peacock Chair” - a title which stuck with the chair. The frame is made up of solid ash, and the seat is upholstered in a new braided rush cord. Skilled craftsmen have expertly restored the chair, maintaining the core of the original Wegner design, making it the perfect focal point for any modern interior.
